CHEMICAL COMPOUNDS

 

All of these compounds contained in a 70% solution. A solution of between 60 - 75% is the most effective in killing germs.

* Isopropol Alcohol - 85 % raw ingredient

 Also known as Isoproponol, rubbing alcohol and IPA. Manufactured by combining water and propylene. Safe to use on the skin, on kitchen and food preparation surfaces and utensils.

* Triclosan - 0.1 %

A potent wide spectrum antibacterial and antifungal agent. Used in soaps, deodorants and toothpastes. Acts as a biocide – targets cytoplasmic and cell membranes.

Disodium EDTA

Chelating agent – used in creams to bind ions so that oxidative deterioration is retarded. Used in industrial cleaning agents and detergents. Used in chelation therapy for mercury and lead poisoning.

Bac-50

Rapid acting cationic biocide. Provides protection against algae, yeast, bacterial and fungal growth in the wet state. Controls the growth of micro-organisms in liquids.

Used in a wide range of cosmetics, toiletries and pharmaceuticals

Crillet 1

Also known as Polysorbate 20. Used as an emulsifier and protective colloid. Solubilizer and viscosity modifier.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I buy your dispenser but put different fluid in it?

No, the hand sanitizer dispenser is designed to only cope with a specific viscosity of liquid.  A more viscous fluid will damage the dispenser – warranty then null and void.

The soap dispenser – (pump) can dispense both Germkill soap and sanitizer solution.

 

Which germs does the product kill?

Can I open the dispenser and clean the tank?

This is not necessary – the product contains Bac-50 which controls the growth of micro-organisms in liquids. Bac-50 also provides protection against yeast, algae and fungal growth.
